Erin grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area surrounded by music.  She started performing at a very early age singing with her parents and doing voice over work for national television commercials.  

Erin earned an associate degree from the School for Music Vocations, a BA in Music from the University of Kansas, and a Masters of Jazz Vocal Studies from Northern Illinois University.  

She started her private teaching studio when she was twenty years old.  Since that time she has taught hundreds of students in Iowa, Chicago, Illinois, and the San Francisco Bay Area.  She spent five years at the School for Music Vocations teaching music fundamentals, vocal arranging, jazz keyboard, jazz solo literature, and running vocal jazz studio.  

In addition to a thriving teaching career, Erin has also worked as a professional vocalist and keyboard player for the last sixteen years. She has worked with bands like the Gabriel Espinoza and the Ashanti Latin Jazz Orchestra, the Hello McFly Band,  Band on the Run, Underwater People, Country Sky, Dayna Malow, Tributosaurus, Steve Frisbie, Ladies of the Canyon, Casa de la Luz, Bay Area based Rumbache, MoeTar, and also as a solo artist.  You can hear her singing backing vocals on a track of the Grammy nominated album, “With Love” by Miami arranger Jeremy Fox.

Erin has traveled all over the United States and Canada performing at such venues as B.B. King's in New York City, the House of Blues in Chicago, the Park West, Martyr’s, the Dakota in Minneapolis, the Great American Music Hall, Freight and Salvage, and Carnegie Hall.
